After returning to the UK yesterday from visiting family in Hong Kong, I was shocked and delighted when @labelslisaloves nominated me for the Liebster Award. I thought it was the jet lag messing with my mind. As a part-time blogger of six months I feel so happy and grateful, so a MASSIVE thank you for thinking about me. LabelsLisaLoves is a girl after my own heart who loves to shop and travel, so be sure to check out her page labelslisaloves.wordpress.com and give her a follow. You can also follow her on instagram here. Let’s share the love!
For those of you who don’t know, a Liebster Award is an online blogging award, given and received by Bloggers. You nominate other bloggers who are perhaps starting out which really helps bloggers to not only connect with other bloggers, but to help new blogs to gain recognition.

- Thank the person(s) who nominated you and post a link to their blog.
- Post 11 facts about yourself.
- Answer the 11 questions that your nominator has asked you.
- Nominate at least 5 but no more than 11 other bloggers who you think deserve the award.
- Create 11 questions for them to answer.
- Let the nominees know that you have nominated them.
1. I was born on the cusp of Cancer and Leo.
2. I used to have a pet snake, an albino Cornsnake called Olga.
3. I have Silver medals in both Ballroom and Latin Dancing.
4. I used to do target shooting (no animals or human beings were ever involved or harmed)
5. I have a phobia of moths.
6. I have a certificate in Archery.

So here are 11 questions for me to answer:
#1. You’re hosting a dinner party, you have 10 guests in total, including you, who are the other 9 guests? They can be dead or alive.
My Fiance -I wouldn’t want him to miss out(!)
JK Rowling – Did I say I was a huge Harry Potter fan?
Michael McIntyre – He is my favourite comedian of all time.
Eddie Redmayne – A brilliant actor and I’m looking forward to Fantastic Beasts being out on DVD.
Robin Williams – I grew up watching all his movies and think he was amazing actor and I loved his films including Mrs Doubtfire. Does anyone remember Mork and Mindy?
Will Smith – L.E.G.E.N.D
Tom Hanks – Another L.E.G.E.N.D
Jennifer Lawrence – So down to earth and I love her films.
Sia – An amazing voice and she can sing for us at the party.
#2. If you could do one thing again what would it be and why?
Swim with the dolphins in Mexico. It was such an amazing experience and I still have the T-shirt.
#3. What is your most embarrassing moment?
So many! One time, I went to get something out of my handbag and a Tampax flew out and landed in front of everyone. My Fiance knew what it was and instantly grabbed it and put it in his pocket to save me from further embarrassment.
#4. What would be your worst and favourite Groundhog Day?
Worst – To wake up and its raining/cold/windy every single day because I wouldn’t be able to leave the house or go anywhere, not being able to see anyone.
Favourite – To be able to wake up by the ocean and have breakfast outside on the balcony, then spend the rest of the day seeing friends and family.
#5. You have 1 year to live, what would you do?
Travel and visit as many places and countries as I could.
#6. Dress up or dress down?
I like to do both! But I prefer to dress down as you can easily glam up your outfit with a nice bag or accessories.
#7. What/who are you most grateful for?
With what’s happening in the world right now, I am very grateful for every day that comes. Not everyone can be with their loved ones everyday, have a home or have nice things. I don’t like to take anything for granted. I’m most grateful to my Fiance who supports and believes in me in the things I do. I wouldn’t have got this award without his encouragement.
#8. What/who is your biggest inspiration?
I think JK Rowling is a great role model. Not only do I love her creativity and imagination in her books, she is so giving and helps those in need with charitable donations. How she overcame the tough times in her life is beyond inspirational and reminds us to never give up on finding happiness in life. She really is truly an amazing person.
#9. What do you need to improve?
My confidence. I may appear confident at times but being an introvert, I have always been quite shy. Blogging and being a YouTuber has helped me grow and to give me a voice for the things I enjoy doing and am passionate about.
#10. If you could have one superpower what would it be?
Teleport so I can instantly appear in different countries whenever I want to and go to my favourite places to eat and shop.
#11. What three items could you take to a desert island from food and water?
I would take my Kindle so I have lots of books to read.
SPF 5o suncream so I don’t burn.
Collection Eyebrow Kit so my eyebrow game stays strong.
