Doctor’s Scrub by GOLDFADEN MD

As someone who likes to search for the next best skincare product to try, I may have just found my favourite – Doctor’s Scrub by GOLDFADEN MD. Read on to know why a daily dosage of this Doctor’s Scrub helps keep dull skin away.

This little gem is a powerful scrub packed with finely-milled ruby crystals mixed in a gorgeous, fresh-smelling base which helps to exfoliate the skin to remove all the dirt and dead cells, leaving it feeling peachy soft and smooth. It’s gentle enough yet you can really work the product to rid any dry skin leaving the skin looking brighter and more radiant.

Not only is this a powerful exfoliator, the scrub is incredibly moisturising as it contains hyaluronic acid to keep the skin hydrated (and seaweed-extract, an antioxidant to protect it from free-radicals) – my skin has been the smoothest it’s ever been since using this and is probably the closest thing to having a Microdermabrasion (a non-invasive treatment using tiny crystals to rid dead skin cells).

I won’t lie, at £65 it isn’t the most purse friendly BUT a little really goes a long way and having been using it daily for around 4 months I still have half a tub left. A tiny amount is enough to cover your entire face and neck – I spread it over the skin and use my fingertips to massage it in circular motions, controlling the intensity as I prefer to scrub harder around the nose area. It claims to be suitable for all skin types however, I would say to those with sensitive skin to use very gentle circular motions to avoid sore skin afterwards. It is easy to rinse off and I found just after one use of it I noticed it didn’t feel tight or have any dry patches like some scrubs and cleansers do afterwards, just super soft and well cleansed.

For those who are serious about exfoliating there is also the Doctor’s Scrub Advanced which contains 100% ruby crystals that help slough away dead skin cells for same results as above. Again this is also suitable for oily or problematic skin.

Has anyone else tried this and what do you think of it?
