Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask

Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask

When one of your favourite brands treat you on your birthday, who am I to say no? Before I begin I would first like to thank Space NK for sending this Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask as it arrived just in time where my skin needed a little TLC post-holiday.

A friend of mine who swears by this (kindly) warned me that this is seriously good, so good that my skin will breakout because it is so potent, and that I shouldn’t use it before a special occasion that is on the day. I replied saying I didn’t want to breakout in ANY way on ANY day, and became a little anxious in trying this out.

As it turns out, this mask deeply cleanses and literally draws out every single impurity whilst using this, which means blemishes-galore. It contains calcium and magnesium to clear congested pores and to help brighten the skin.

When I applied this to my face I could feel my skin tingling within minutes but this didn’t feel uncomfortable. It does go on smoothly and easily and unlike some clay masks, it doesn’t have that thick-feeling. A little goes a long way, only a small amount is needed to cover the entire face with a thin layer. The smell was pleasant and reminded me of going to a Spa.

The tingling sensation goes once it starts to dry and gradually tightens without causing any discomfort. After around 20 minutes or so I rinse this off using warm water and a damp muslim cloth to remove any residue.

Luckily, I had no irritations and only had a few blemishes show up and they went away quite quickly however, I know this varies from person to person. My skin felt super soft afterwards, fresh and extremely clean. I did expect this to be just like any other clay/mud mask but I was surprised as it’s so much more than that. It deeply draws out the impurities without being overly harsh to the skin or dries it out which I get from some masks. This would be brilliant for problematic skin as it purifies and nourishes at the same time, and with regular use I think it would improve the complexion.

It’s a very luxurious facial that comes in a luxurious packaging, the pot feels heavy and expensive. It definitely does what it advertises and you can visibly see results. I think I will use this once a fortnight as it’s too strong for me to use on a daily (or even weekly) basis. It’s definitely worth considering if you are into your skincare and home facials. What’s your favourite deep cleansing mask?

This sounds wonderful. Love that you say it deeply cleanses. Some don’t really feel like they’re doing anything. I’m not generally into masks but I do try the odd one here and there. This looks like a definite contender!

    Thanks for sharing!
